Description

Relive the golden era of Japanese turbo sedans with the 1987 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 mod for Assetto Corsa, created by Bruce Kelt. The E39A Galant VR-4 was Mitsubishi's turbocharged all-wheel-drive sedan and the car it took into world rallying before the Lancer Evolution arrived. This Assetto Corsa Mitsubishi mod comes in both right-hand-drive (RHD) and left-hand-drive (LHD) versions.

Performance

In Assetto Corsa, the Galant VR4 makes 202 whp and 294 Nm of torque from its turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. It weighs 1,370 kg, sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h. All-wheel drive gives it strong traction out of slow corners, which is exactly what made the VR-4 so effective on rally stages.

Features

  • RHD and LHD versions
  • factory paint options for the 1987 model
  • animated doors and wipers
  • CSP refraction glass
  • AO maps for extra realism
  • fog lights you can switch on and off with the CSP Extra A key
  • an exterior template so skin makers can create their own liveries

For full functionality, we recommend using Content Manager with the latest Custom Shaders Patch (CSP).

Best For: Touge, Classic Circuits and JDM Collections

The Mitsubishi Galant VR4 is at its best on twisty mountain roads, where its all-wheel-drive grip and turbo punch help you pull hard out of every corner. It's also a fun choice for classic car races on circuits, and a must-have for anyone building a collection of 80s Japanese performance cars.
