The 2008 Mazda Furai Concept for Assetto Corsa puts Mazda’s last Nagare show car on track as a driveable Le Mans-style prototype rather than a static display piece. Unveiled at the 2008 North American International Auto Show, the real Furai (Japanese for "sound of the wind") sat on a Courage C65 LMP2 chassis with butterfly doors and a mid-mounted Racing Beat 2.0-liter R20B three-rotor producing around 450 hp on E100 ethanol, wearing #55 in tribute to Mazda’s 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning 787B. This car mod recreates that ultra-low 977 mm coupe silhouette and rotary character for hotlaps and endurance sessions. Version 1.1 improves chrome and logo materials, steering-wheel RPM LEDs, exhaust shake, and Custom Shader Patch emissive lighting, so CSP is recommended if you want working lights and exhaust effects.
