About Peugeot 207 RC

Peugeot 207 RC was launched in 2007. It was available as a 3-door hatchback and 5-door SW. The RC version was equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine (THP), developed by PSA in collaboration with BMW. Its maximum output was 175HP and 240NM (260NM with overboost).

The 1.6 THP engine was equipped with a Twin-Scroll turbocharger to deliver maximum power at lower RPM. Maximum torque is achievable at 1600 RPM and stays available up to 4500 RPM. In 1st and 2nd gear, turbocharger boost is set to 0.8 bar, but under hard throttle in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear, boost increases up to 1 bar from 1600 to 5200 RPM.

The 207 RC features stiffer suspension, upgraded brakes, a complex ESP system, and additional performance improvements. The interior includes alcantara, leather trim, aluminium pedal covers, and an aluminium gear knob. Exterior details include black-chrome cylindrical lens headlights, semi-chrome mirror covers, 17-inch “Pitlane” alloy rims, dual chrome exhaust pipes, a rear spoiler, and an RC badge on the trunk.
